Glowing skin for the holidays

I know I told you about fabulous fresh glowing looking makeup tricks on my last blog but prepping your skin plays a huge part.

Always keep a good scrub in your shower. It is effortless and you will not forget.
A great one is by Kate Somerville, exfolikate.

Don't forget a good eye cream, use it AM and PM.
MeTip: keep it next to your bed so you remember to use it at night. I keep a second one with my makeup.
A great one is by Jurlique. I love many of their products.

Use a moisturizer with SPF 15 even in the winter. Proactiv has amazing oil free moisturizers with sunblock. Also a new product by proactiv is their dark spot corrector. It works and winter is the best time to use it.

Follow these few steps and you will be ready to go and start your makeup.

The holidays are coming at us fast and in all the madness to get gifts for all, the stress is getting higher and higher...STOP!
You have to look great so you can feel great!
Let me share with you some of my personal favorites to keep you looking fabulous and fresh at all times, while shopping and while partying.

First and foremost get a good foundation like SENSAI fluid finish lasting velvet by KANEBO, Armani lasting silk or Goh Gen Do.
MeTip: blend please all the way into your neck and collar bone for a natural effect.

Follow with an amazing concealer by La Mer "the radiant concealer SPF 25" or Kevin Aucoin "the sensual skin enhancer". They both do as they say and they come in many shades to match all skin tones.
MeTip: bring your foundation higher and blend in with your concealer to avoid that raccoon effect.

Now that all is blended and your skin is thanking you for the evenness and moisture, time to glow!

Give yourself some rosey cheeks with this next product. Jane Iredale "Rose Dawn" is kind of like a bronzer but the color scheme is so rich in pinks and shimmers that you will fall in love with it and use it every day.

For added sparkle dust on some Kevin Aucoin celestial bronzing veil. You will steal many glances anywhere you go!

Moving on to the eye sparkle now that you are glowing. I love the combination of flat and shimmer shadows. Some great palettes are coming from Urban Decay and Stila amongst many others.
Blend with good brushes like The Sigma brushes which is my new favorite.

Finish off the eyes with Elizabeth Arden "smokey eyes" pencil in espresso and coat your lashes with Voluminous Million Lashes mascara in black.

Now, you can pick any color lipstick or gloss you want, from neutral to bold red and enjoy shopping or partying equally.
MeTip: I always use a neutral lip liner under any color. Lise Watier nude is waterproof and will last all day or night.

What did you forget?
Eyebrows.
Eyebrows are playing a huge part in your whole look. You know the drill, they frame your face etc. I love a strong eyebrow because it brings the attention to your eyes.
My new favorite product is Vanity Mark, he has a vast collection of many colors for all the shades of blondes, redheads and brunettes.
